Be aged between 20 and 70 years<br \/>2. Be unemployed or retired from service<br \/>3. Have at least passed one subject at SC\/GCE &#8216;O&#8217; level examinations or equivalent<br \/>4. Be fit to perform such duties<br \/>5. Not have any criminal records.<\/p><p><span class=\"otherpagestyle\"><strong><u>Mode of Application<\/u><\/strong> <\/span><\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eform.govmu.org\/forms\/MES\/Invigilator\/Invigilator.php\">&gt;&gt; ONLINE Application<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mes.govmu.org\/mes\/wp-admin\/admin-ajax.php?juwpfisadmin=false&amp;action=wpfd&amp;task=file.download&amp;wpfd_category_id=332&amp;wpfd_file_id=9361\">Application Form Download<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>The following documents (original and one photocopy) should be produced:<\/p><p>1. National identity card (NIC)<a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><br \/>2. Birth\/Marriage Certificate<br \/>3. Academic and other qualifications<br \/>4. Heading of Bank Statement \u2013 to verify bank account number<br \/>5. Letter of retirement (if applicable)<br \/>6. Letters of reference from past employers (if applicable)<br \/>7. Certificate of Character (dated back not more than one year)<br \/>8. Utility Bill as proof of residential address (CWA or CEB or MT).<\/p><p><strong><u>Selection\/Appointment<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>Selection\/Appointment are made from a bank of invigilators which is updated yearly through a <strong>survey<\/strong>; normally carried out during the period June-August.<\/p><ul><li class=\"otherpagestyle\">The Syndicate reserves the right not to make any offer of appointment.<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><strong><u>Remuneration<\/u><\/strong><\/div><ul><li class=\"otherpagestyle\">A daily allowance of <strong>Rs578\/-<\/strong> is paid to each invigilator upon completion of the assignment.<\/li><li class=\"otherpagestyle\">The sum payable is credited to the invigilators\u2019 bank within a reasonable time.<\/li><\/ul><p><span class=\"otherpagestyle\">Refund of travelling allowance is not entertained.<\/span><\/p><div class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-4-4\"><em>Data Protection Clause<\/em><\/div><div class=\"ms-rteThemeForeColor-4-4\"><em>The information which you give when completing your application form will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2004 and for the following purposes: to enable the organisation to create an electronic and paper record of your application; to enable the application to be processed; to enable the organisation to compile statistics, or to assist other organisations to do so, provided that no statistical information that would identify you as an individual will be published.
